Legal Considerations for Healthcare Professionals Adopting a Coach Approach.  As healthcare professionals expand their services to include coaching, understanding the legal, ethical, and business considerations is critical. This two-part webinar series (each 90-minutes), co-presented by Hélène Thériault, intellectual property lawyer Pablo Tseng, and business lawyer Claire Huang, provides practical guidance on navigating intellectual property, trademarks, business structures, billing, and confidentiality. Whether you’re creating content, setting up a business, or integrating coaching into therapy, these sessions will assist you with the tools to operate your business confidently and ethically.

Can’t attend live? Not a problem, you’ll have access to the recording for up to 60 days following each webinar.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define clear boundaries between therapy and coaching practices to avoid legal and ethical pitfalls while maintaining distinct professional roles.
  2. Identify key steps to protect intellectual property, including tools, frameworks, and digital content, and understand when to trademark your work.
  3. Explore practical strategies for navigating billing, confidentiality, and service differentiation when offering coaching services beyond traditional therapy.
