How Micro-Credentialing Works: Earning your Badge

Micro-credentialing at Function First Coaching involves completing a series of thematically connected coaching courses. These courses provide you with in-depth knowledge, skills, and tools tailored to your chosen area of practice and coaching focus. This journey includes the Dive Into a Coach Approach™ program, starting with Level 1-Core Fundamentals (12 hours), followed by Level 2A- Relationship Mastery (10 hours), 2B Technical Mastery (10 hours), and Level 3.0 Live Implementation (10 hours).

Stand-Alone Designation

A micro-credential can be pursued as a stand-alone designation, signifying your dedication to specialization and excellence in coaching within your field.

Recognition of Growing Knowledge

Earning a micro-credential formally acknowledges your growing knowledge and expertise as a coach. It demonstrates your commitment to staying current in your area of practice and continuously enhancing your coaching skills.

Customization of Your Coaching Journey

Micro-credentialing allows you to tailor your coaching journey to align with your goals and passions. Whether you’re a pediatric occupational therapist, a physical therapist, a nutritionist, or a healthcare leader, our micro-credentials are designed to fit your expertise.

Earning Your Micro-Credential Badge

Upon completing a minimum of 42 CCEs (and potentially up to 50 CCEs) with Function First Coaching, you’ll be eligible to earn a customized micro-credential badge. This badge represents your dedication to professional growth and highlights your specialization within your field.

Your micro-credential badge is designed to match your area of practice and coaching focus. For example:

• A pediatric occupational therapist may earn a “Parent Coaching” badge.
• A physical therapist specializing in health and wellness may receive a “Health and Wellness Coach” badge.
• A physician specializing in lifestyle medicine and wellness coaching might earn a “Wellness Coach” badge.
• A physician focusing on pain management and holistic health could proudly display a “Pain Management Coach” badge.
